Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Jason Anderson withdrew from moto one at the third round of 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, but details were rather vague. The NBC Sports crew revealed in the television broadcast that the plate in his arm, which was inserted following his injury in January 2019, had started to irritate him and that he would seek an MRI to see what could be done to resolve the problem. Husqvarna just released a statement for the first time, but it does not give much away.
"Jason Anderson had a premature ending to his day after experiencing an uncomfortable pain in his arm during the first moto. Anderson pushed through for a few more laps but ultimately made the decision to pull off as he believed it to be a re-aggravation of a previous injury."
There will be more news on Anderson soon, as it seems as though he could indeed be out for the remainder of the season. This post will be updated as soon as an official stance on the matter becomes clear.
